Look at that nug, it’s beautiful.  The dank richness of its terpenes excite your nose.  The colors and the stunning little crystals - just delicious!  The taste of smoke gives you a cool breeze feeling and the intoxicating kiss of Mary Jane.  A ritual that is repeated often with reverence and pleasure.  The experience is kinda sexy, complete, and sensual, without being reckless and destructive.  If weed doesn’t make you horny, then maybe you’re smoking crap?

To cannabis enthusiasts, the perfume of good ganja is welcomed and is an invitation to a brother/sister smoker that you are accepted here.  The bong on the coffee table says, “sit down and share my herb, it’s better than a boring cheese platter”.  A well rolled doobie and friends to smoke with is a special bonding moment.  Yes, the senses are stimulated when you smoke and connecting with others is easy and second nature.  In a non-sexual way, being horny for weed is OK, and it is gladly shared with those who share the same opinion. 

Looking at the brilliant variety of cannabis now is amazing.  Each new strain brings a new work of art.  At the same time, old favorites are still classic and still requested by most smokers.  The act of procuring weed is exciting and thrilling.  The first smell of the weed, maybe a little smoke to try it out, and wow, somehow it’s like hooking up for the first time.  Walking out with a new bag is like growing two inches, you walk away like a conquering general.  That also makes you a tad paranoid - like somehow some unforeseen event will prevent you from getting home with your new “Precious!”  Then finally, that first smoke in safety with your new bag and you are totally feeling like you hooked up!

In the old days, we would communicate with other cannabis enthusiasts using a slang code.  The idea of someone listening in or reading our texts was assumed, so we used code.  My friend called pot hamburgers, so he was always telling his mother that he was going out for burgers.  She thought my friend must love hamburgers!  Now, us old folks still talk in code and it baffles younger smokers why we do it.  We explain that we never got caught so there is wisdom in our method.  What do we know? Instagram is full of videos of people smoking. Still, we like using our code talking, somehow it is a still stimulating thing to do.
